Strip For Me

A blog to help the busy on-the-go cosmopolitan type keep track of the many changes going on over at the Strip For Me site by Douglas Noble. What a great comic site that is, eh?

Today is the day

Another week's work sees SFM 16 edging ever nearer to completion. I keep promising myself that the month should see the new number, so everyone cross your fingers for me. Certainly it's getting there. The crowd scenes in Diesel 4 are a pain, but if I want to write a bit in a pub, I really do need them. they're getting there though. If there's enough time I'll try to post a nice teaser image sometime during the week.
Today sees three new pages, which isn't bad as I would be happy to get one new page up per week. So today sees new installments of 20 Questions and Showdown, whilst welcoming This Is Not A Mystery for a one-off engagement. This new strip is another in the vein that you've been seeing - I'll have to think of some kind of collective name for them. Any suggestions gratefully received.
More new comics one week away.

Mother's boy, ya big sap

Happy July the Tenth to all you out there, including my mother, who have birthday on this day. If it's not your birthday, well, just you go and have a happy day anyway. My gift to you can be the three new pages that the Strip For Me website has for your consideration this very week.
Yes, three mighty new pages for you all to enjoy. First of all we have the latest in the ongoing 20 Questions story. As we hit the halfway point what strange events have begun to unfold? Only by reading on can the reader hope to find out, and even then there's a chance that a mystery may still remain...
Next we have a new one page story for all you lucky folks out there. This one is entitled "Do You Like That I Like You?" and the adroit among you will note that it uses the same panel format as What We Think of What They Think, from a couple of weeks ago. What can I say, I like the shape of it. Polar bears and penguins - dear reader, remember that combination for the distant future...
Lastly we've got a new squiggle up in the Sketch section. It's kind of gleeful and fun. I hope you all like it.
See you all next week.

in the borders where men is men

Three new episodes of borders this week, all in the same format, which may alarm some of you. Don't worry yourselves, this is not a permanent change. Just a new experiment. Get yourself over to these three places to read what's going on.
We also have two new Questions from our regular inquisition. Go here and here to find out a little bit more about what happened. First person to guess what deadly deed was done gets no prize to speak of, but the just satisfaction of being right!
Can't say fairer than that. More soon!
